We’re a locally owned, independent gym built from humble beginnings with one simple mission: to create a better fitness experience.
Our story started with 4 Star Gym in El Segundo, a beloved community gym dating back to 1969. In 2010, we introduced coaching and programming services to give members not only a space to train but also the knowledge and habits to succeed long term.
Today, we’ve grown into multiple locations across Los Angeles, Redondo, and Torrance. All while staying true to our small-business values. With us, you’ll find more than just a gym; you’ll discover a supportive community, a place to train smarter, and the freedom to enjoy fitness on your terms.

      Forget crowded spaces and long waits for equipment. We do things differently. Our gyms are designed for fewer members, so you enjoy more space, more freedom, and a better training experience. Think of it as your own shared home gym. Sometimes you’ll have the place all to yourself, other times you’ll share with just a few like-minded members. Why you’ll love it here: - Fewer members and more space: Enjoy a shared home gym feel, often with just a few like-minded members (or sometimes all to yourself!). 
- Faster workouts: What takes 2 hours at a big-box gym takes just 45 minutes here. 
- Clean, safe, and welcoming: Members take pride in keeping our space community-driven. 
 We’re not a corporate chain. We’re a community-driven gym focused on quality, customer care, and helping you reach your goals without the chaos.

      Master Classes are a one-time option, while memberships are set up as no-contract, month-to-month with flexible tiers based on how often you train. You can upgrade, downgrade, or suspend your membership anytime to fit your schedule. Open Gym memberships include an initiation fee for orientation and setup, but if you complete a Master Class, we’ll waive that fee. We only require 15 days’ notice to cancel, and we’ll even pro-rate your final month. Since our pricing is unique and updated regularly, we recommend a quick 5–10 minute call to walk you through details and answer questions.

      Since our open gym model is a key access system there is a bit of an orientation process to get started. We try our best to accomodate people where we can, but there’s no guarantees the timing works out. Multi-Day or Week passes typically make the most financial sense. Single Day passes usually make more sense after your first visit when you’ve received your key and orientation to our gym. - Schedule a quick call or drop us a note through our contact form and we’ll see how we can help.

      Nope! You can jump right in as an Open Gym Member. But here’s the win: our 1-on-1 Barbell Master Classes are the fastest way to improve form, prevent injuries, and build confidence. Perfect for both beginners and advanced lifters. Plus, when you sign up for a Master Class, we’ll waive your Open Gym initiation fee!

      Our Master Class is a 3–5 session, 1-on-1 training experience (60–90 minutes each) with GTS Coaching staff. It’s not a random workout. It’s a deep dive designed to educate and empower you with proper form, programming, and nutrition so you can train confidently on your own. What you’ll learn: - Master core movements: squats, deadlifts, presses, pulls 
- Improve muscle engagement and reduce injury risk 
- Build sustainable training habits 
- Sessions tailored to all levels: beginners, advanced athletes, or in-between 
 We’ve worked with everyone from athletes and trainers to busy parents and complete newcomers. Best of all, there’s no obligation to continue, many people take what they learn and apply it anywhere. But if you love our coaching, we make it easy (and affordable) to keep going with personalized programs and open gym access.

      We have trained children starting around 10-12 years old and adults well into their 80’s! The beauty of the Master Class is it allows us to spend a lot of focused time with people up front where it’s’ most critical.

You probably have come across the countless benefits of strength and resistance training but don’t know where to start. - Our Master Classes are designed to get you comfortable in any gym space or get you back up and running if it’s been a while and you need a tune up! 
- For beginners, we take all the guess work out of getting started as we’ll review gym etiquette, terms, equipment, technique and programming concepts. 
 We like to pretend like you’ve never stepped foot in a gym, removes the ego from the equation and makes it a very educational experience!
